US spot Bitcoin ETFs lost a net $228.4M in the October 12–16 trading week. Two positive sessions did not offset three days of redemptions.

US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a combined $228.4 million net outflow in the five trading sessions from October 12 through October 16, 2026. The weekly total is the sum of published daily fund-flow figures, rather than a reading for October 19. Follow related fund developments in OrangeX.com ETFs.

Two inflow days did not offset redemptions

Daily totals were negative $65.4 million on Monday, positive $175.7 million on Tuesday, negative $261.4 million on Wednesday, positive $5.1 million on Thursday and negative $82.4 million on Friday. That leaves three negative sessions and two positive ones. Wednesday produced the largest net outflow of the week.

Friday's $82.4 million outflow consisted of $71.8 million from IBIT and $10.6 million from FBTC; the other funds in the compiled table showed zero net flows. Zero reported flows do not mean zero trading volume.

Read the reporting period carefully

October 19 entries were still incomplete when this report was prepared. A placeholder total is not a completed trading session. Flow estimates can also be revised, so comparisons should use matching dates and definitions. Broader coverage is available in OrangeX.com News, with operational guidance in the OrangeX.com Trust Center.

OrangeX.com Analysis

The weekly result shows net redemptions exceeded creations across these funds. It does not identify every investor's motive or establish a cause for Bitcoin's price moves. Two positive days also caution against describing the week as uninterrupted selling. The next useful evidence is a completed new session and whether demand broadens across funds; a single negative week does not establish a lasting trend.
