Ether ETF Flows Turn Positive After 10-Day Outflow Streak

U.S. spot Ether exchange-traded funds recorded $24.8 million in combined net inflows on October 13, ending ten consecutive trading sessions of net redemptions. Ether traded near $2,500 as the flow direction changed. Readers can monitor the verified ETH/USDT spot market on OrangeX.com and broader updates through OrangeX.com News.
A positive session follows about $782.8 million of outflows
The latest completed fund data shows two products taking in $8.1 million and $16.7 million, while the remaining products reported no net movement. The prior session, October 12, recorded $85.4 million in net outflows.
From September 29 through October 12, the category posted ten consecutive negative sessions totaling approximately $782.8 million. The October 13 inflow therefore marks a break in the streak, although one positive day does not establish a lasting reversal. Cumulative net inflows across the products stood near $13.23 billion after the latest row.
ETH remains sensitive to macro and positioning risk
Fund creations and redemptions show demand for ETF shares, but they do not measure every source of spot demand and cannot by themselves explain price changes. ETH's next move may also depend on inflation data, interest-rate expectations, derivatives positioning and activity on the Ethereum network. The broader macro setup is discussed in OrangeX.com's Bitcoin and CPI market update.
Traders using ETH perpetual contracts on OrangeX.com face separate funding, leverage and liquidation risks. ETF flows can be revised, and market prices change continuously.
OrangeX.com Analysis
The end of a ten-session outflow streak removes one near-term pressure point, but the $24.8 million inflow is small compared with the roughly $782.8 million withdrawn during the preceding run. A more convincing shift would require several positive sessions, broader participation across funds and price resilience above recent trading ranges. Until then, the latest row is best read as stabilization rather than proof of a durable institutional return.
